Once upon a time

Not only fairytales are for children but it's true that they also have been a longtime source of inspiration for many artists. Alena Akhmadullina, a Russian-born designer, managed to recreate the fantasy of one of the most popular Russian folktale by bringing to life its underwater world through her newest resort collection. Feminine yet using all kinds of material, she literally carves out of her garments beautiful ocean waves stitched in rough denim, koi carps and crashing curls on chiffon and sea foam formed by fur details in a way that reminds us of the famous Japanese painter Hokusai's signature paintings. Whereas my closet clearly lacks of color, I'd love to wear those gorgeous pieces. It's subtle, delicate and oh so chic !

FIFTY SHADES OF GREY

You know how old movies used to be in black and white ? Well, I think I would have been great in one of them because it seems like I can't wear anything else than black, white or grey clothes. Grey particularly have been one of my favorite color since autumn and its cold weather settled in lately.

I am wearing a turtleneck sweater I got from China, and the pants are from Zara
